June 19, 2017 – IGY Marinas today announced that it has partnered with Boatyard – a mobile application (app) that allows boaters to schedule maintenance, fuel delivery, cleaning, captains and more with just a few clicks on their smartphones. The company will begin offering the newest perk at their South Florida marina –
One Island Park – Miami Beach, which will house five pre-loaded devices for guests.
Available via iTunes and downloadable across all Apple device platforms, Boatyard has revolutionized the boating industry by offering customers a one-click resource to services. This allows guests to spend more time cruising, fishing, yachting or swimming and less time waiting in line at the fuel dock. Additionally, IGY Marinas’ Anchor Club Strategic Partners have been pre-loaded onto the app, allowing for easy service scheduling for the company’s loyal customers. All inquiries will be received by IGY Marinas’ Operations Manager Gili Wojnowich and his team will work to complete the requests once received.
“We’re keeping it simple,” said Wojnowich. “The app is sophisticated and has robust direct order and payment capabilities, but we want to ensure that we are fulfilling the needs of each of our customers quickly and efficiently. Once perfected, we plan to expand use of the app and will launch in other locations. It’s really exciting technology and we know our customers will enjoy scheduling services at a time that is convenient for them.”
IGY Marinas’ new partnership is part of the company’s mission to expand its use of mobile technology in 2017. The company is currently exploring other business ventures that will further enhance its marina offerings to its discerning clientele.
“Developing relationships with mobile apps such as Boatyard has allowed us to adapt to today’s virtual environment, while building brand recognition with new clientele,” said Tom Mukamal, CEO of IGY Marinas. “We’ve also worked hard to construct valued relationships with industry brands through our Anchor Club Strategic Partners program and we’ve now given them another platform to reach our customer base. Our partnership with Boatyard allows us to reach our clients in a new way, and we look forward to further embracing this innovative technology as we progress forward.”
Consumers can download Boatyard directly to their mobile device from the App Store or Google Play. Once opened, select “Marina” and “One Island Park” to order any of the services available to guests at One Island Park Marina.
